Device Board (dbx) is a hardware platform for rapid development of any instrument. It uses structural system AIB (All In Board) when all the components including displays and keyboards integrated into the plane of the motherboard. Custom functions of the device are designed module Plugboard, which is inserted from the bottom side DBx. Specifications DBx includes design solutions including plastic cover, and components required to complete assembly unit. Operating system DBOS created in conjunction with the platform DBx very strong foundation for emerging devices.
The core module consists DBx 32bit processor running DBOS. On the processor is connected to an external memory expansion, LCD display and capacitive keypad. Communication DBx - plugboard is zajištněna with SPI and I2C bus, there are free IO pins and ADC. USB is primarily used to communicate with the computer module DBx, but nothing prevents use it directly in the plugboard.
Platform Device Board is composed principally of its latest models DB3 and DB4. Model DB1 is deprecated nowadays lags as production rates, and equipment. Model DB2 has valid only for specific applications, large systems, especially where the price of the complete system is not a priority. New models DB3 and DB4 use the accumulated experience of development and use of DB1 and DB2 and completely innovative design solves a new device based on this platform.
